Consultation on Argyll and Bute HSCP Draft Island Strategy
On this page
It is Argyll and Bute HSCP’s privilege to introduce the first draft of our first-ever Island Strategy.
This consultation is open to anyone living or working on an island in Argyll and Bute.
The consultation has been extended and now closes at the end of Thursday 7 November 2024.
About the Strategy
We have been developing this strategy over the past year and now we would like to engage with our island communities, colleagues and partners to hear what it’s like to live on an island and your views on the draft strategy.
Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership provide health and social care services to the 23 inhabited islands and while every island is unique, we want to set out a high level vision and a list of actions and recommendations for our island communities which aims to ensure good health and social care outcomes across all islands.
Our vision for our island residents is consistent with our aspirations for the entire Argyll and Bute region: to ensure all residents have access to high quality, responsive services.
We have mapped all services for those islands that have a population of more than a hundred people, however the strategy and action plan is for all of the 23 inhabited islands which we serve.
