Follow the directional circles throughout the hospital. 

  • for zones 1 to 4, use the outpatients entrance
  • for zones 5 to 10, use the main entrance

UHI House

NHS Highland centres in UHI House

UHI House (formerly the Centre for Health Science) is home to:

Parking

The car park at UHI House is subject to parking charges (it's not owned by NHS Highland). There's no charge if leaving within 30 minutes of entering, so people can be dropped off. Parking remains free for patients in the Raigmore Hospital car parks but there is a walk of between 150 and 400 metres to the UHI House entrances.

The charging system operates on a vehicle registration identification system. There is no facility to override the barrier system, to let cars exit without paying.

The charges are:

  • up to 30 minutes - FREE
  • up to 2 hours - £2
  • up to 4 hours - £3
  • up to 6 hours - £3.50
  • up to 10 hours - £5
  • up to 12 hours - £5.50
  • up to 18 hours - £8
  • up to 24 hours, and each 24 hour period or part-period - £9

Charges are payable by cash or debit card at pay machines, located:

  • at the entrance of the main UHI House reception (this takes card only)
  • at the entrance to the Dental Centre (this takes cash or card)

There are Blue Badge disabled parking bays beside each entrance.
