What keeps me healthy

There are lots of things you can do to stay healthy.

Fruit and vegetables

Try to eat fruit and vegetables every day.

Fibre

Try to eat food that has fibre in it, like:

  • brown rice
  • porridge
  • wholemeal bread and pasta
A sliced loaf of wholemeal bread

Water

Drinking 6-8 glasses of water every day.

A bottle of water

Weight

Keeping to a healthy weight.

Bathroom scales

Exercise

Try to be more active in everyday life, this includes walking more and sitting less.
