Courses available

Details of all the courses offered by the Health Improvement Team can be found in our Learning and Development for Health Improvement 2022-2023 prospectus.

Booking for all courses as well as details on when courses are running is done through NHS Highland's Turas Learn course booking system (login required).  Courses currently available include:

• Alcohol Brief Interventions (ABI)
• Health Inequalities: why bother?
• Introduction to Mental Health and Wellbeing
• Money Counts: Level 1 - read more about the course
• Money Counts: Level 2 - read more about the course
• Smoke-free hospital sites
• Suicide Intervention and Prevention Programme (SIPP)

Booking courses at Turas Learn

NHS Highland Staff

You must make all bookings through Turas Learn. You will find our training under Public Health Zone.

Staff outwith NHS Highland

Please use the NHS Highland's Turas Learn booking system.  If you don't have for a Turas Learn account, you will need to register. The video below demonstrates how to create your own account.

Under Sectors you must select the option most relevant to your organisation (for example, Third and Voluntary Sector in Scotland). If you work for an organisation, please select Highland.

Information collected through this system will only be used for the administration and evaluation of the training attended. We may contact you in future to evaluate the impact of this training. The data will not be shared further unless required by law.
