During routine maintenance, it was identified that there is a potential risk of contamination to the water supply within Campbeltown Hospital and Campbeltown Hospital Dental Service.
Appropriate disinfection measures have been implemented, but for further assurance, we will carry out a programme of testing and verification.
Until that testing is complete, additional processes such as water filtering and flushing will be put in place as precautionary measures.
These actions will reduce any residual risk to patients and staff.
