Consultation on proposed Helensburgh Pharmacy

17th February 2025
NHS Scotland community pharmacy sign on door

Time is running out for residents of Helensburgh to have their say on a proposed new pharmacy in the area.

NHS Highland together with Daniel Frame and Muaz Jamil are undertaking a joint consultation exercise to seek the views of local people who may be affected by the opening of a new pharmacy at 1-3 East King Street, Helensburgh G84 7QQ.

This will determine whether residents feel they already have adequate access to pharmacy services in the area and to gauge support for the application.

The consultation process began on Monday 28 October 2024 and will close on Thursday 6 March 2025. No responses can be accepted after 5pm on the closing date.

A public consultation questionnaire is available - access the online survey here.

A paper copy of the questionnaire can be posted to you on request:

phone 01463 706 886

Or write to:

Secretary to the Pharmacy Practices Committee

All views submitted will be incorporated into a Consultation Analysis Report which will be taken into account by the NHS Highland Pharmacy Practices Committee (PPC) which decides the outcome of an application.
