Betty Rhodick, a Service User Representative on the Argyll and Bute Integration Joint Board since 2016, has sadly passed away.
Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership are deeply saddened by the loss of our long-standing colleague and valued board member. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.
In her long-standing role with the Integration Joint Board (IJB), Betty served as the spokesperson for service users, effectively shaping and promoting the IJB's policies, strategies, decisions, and achievements to service users across Argyll and Bute.
Councillor Dougie McFadzean, Chair of Argyll and Bute Integration Joint Board said: “Betty had a profound understanding of the requirements and delivery of healthcare in remote and rural areas. She was dedicated to every aspect of the IJB business, tirelessly advocating and contributing to continuously improving high-quality healthcare and services across Argyll and Bute.
“Her exceptional commitment and influence will reach far beyond the policies and decisions she contributed to shape and develop.
“My thoughts are with the family, close friends, and colleagues during this sad time.”
