Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) representatives have been working closely with the Isle of Jura Primary Care Out Of Hours (OOHs) Working Group and will be hosting a public engagement drop-in event.
The event takes place on 19 September 2024, from 5pm to 7pm at Jura Community Hall.
We have collaborated closely with the Working Group to develop an OOHs GP service model and have now progressed towards forming an Implementation Group. We value the diverse perspectives of community members as we transition towards putting the new model into practice. During this next stage we would encourage community members to attend the event, as their insights are crucial for improving and developing future healthcare services.
The purpose of this event is to gather further community feedback on local GP out-of-hours (OOHs) medical services from Monday to Friday, 6pm to 8am, including weekends, and to discuss proposed service delivery model. The event aims to provide a platform for residents to voice their opinions, share their experiences, and suggest improvements to the provision of healthcare services.
Please note that this does not relate to emergency services (999). These procedures and provisions for the island remain unchanged.
If attending in person is not possible, feedback can be submitted via email to the Argyll and Bute HSCP Community Engagement Team:
