Work is underway to reconfigure the layout of the Royal Northern Infirmary (RNI) Community Hospital in Inverness and move the Sexual Health service from Raigmore Hospital site to the RNI.
This is essential for NHS Highland to expand our dermatology service and ensure we are meeting our statutory requirements in delivering sexual health services in Highland.
Our Estates team have developed a plan for the reconfiguration and most of the work has been completed.
Pamela Cremin, NHS Highland’s Chief Officer for Community Services, said: “This work will mainly impact on those who attend the Highland Sexual Health service. The phone number and opening times for the service remain the same.
“We will be in touch directly with patients to advise them of any change to where they attend appointments and/or clinics.
“We want to thank our service users, patients and staff for their support during this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”
