All members of the public are welcome to join NHS Highland's annual review online or in person.
NHS Highland’s annual review will be held on Friday 29 September, and the public is invited to attend the afternoon session from 2-3pm, either online or in-person at the Centre for Health Science, Inverness.
If you would like to watch the session live online, you can join on Microsoft Teams by clicking this link shortly before the session begins. You do not need to download Teams beforehand to join.
Please note that it is not possible to ask questions if you are watching online. Members of the public had the opportunity to submit questions in advance of the session up to the 31 August.
This year the review will be chaired by Jenni Minto MSP, the Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health. She will ask a selection of the submitted questions at the public meeting. The review also gives the Minister the opportunity to meet clinicians, colleagues, and representatives of patients, carers and communities, and hear about the work and performance of NHS Highland over the past 12 months.
NHS Highland Chair Sarah Compton-Bishop said, “We’re delighted to be able to welcome the Minister for Public Health and Women’s Health to NHS Highland, and to be able to invite the public to join us either in person or virtually. This will be an opportunity for us to explain the progress we’ve made in the aftermath of the pandemic, and outline some of the challenges faced by NHS boards, particularly in remote and rural areas.”
There is no need to book if you wish to attend the public meeting: just come along to the Centre for Health Science, in the grounds of Raigmore Hospital, Old Perth Road, Inverness IV2 3JH for 2pm on Friday 29 September, or watch the online livestream via Microsoft Teams.
The session will be recorded and shared on this website afterwards.
